Muhammad Ahmed Durrani

Muhammad Ahmed Durrani (born 3 January 2006) is a Pakistani swimmer living in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from the age of 3. He was trained in UAE under the guidance of notable coaches. During his early years, he took to swimming at his school. He has had exceptional performance and has set multiple national records. He competed in the men’s 200-metre freestyle event at the 66th MILO Malaysian Age Group Olympic Qualifiers – Kuala Lumpur (2024). In 2023 he competed at the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China where he shattered the 200 IM of Pakistan which had remained unchallenged for nearly 15 years.

By representing Pakistan in the Paris Olympics and beyond, Ahmed seeks to bring pride to his nation and demonstrate that Pakistani athletes can compete at the highest levels.

Ahmed is committed to serving as an ambassador for swimming and other sports in Pakistan, encouraging the next generation to pursue their dreams and break barriers. He acknowledges the role of his coaches, particularly his French coach Caroline, whose guidance has been instrumental in his rapid progress and current standing.
